Microsoft Dynamics Client for Microsoft Office available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Microsoft Dynamics Client for Microsoft Office (DCO) was introduced on the Dec 1st, pricelist for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. From Jan 1st, Microsoft Dynamics Client for Microsoft Office will replace Web Users as the Business Ready Licensing (BRL) option for access to Microsoft Dynamics NAV through other applications.

Impact to Existing Customers

All Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers on BRL with Web Users and Employee Portal users will be transitioned to Microsoft Dynamics Client for Office and WSS proactively by Microsoft during January 2009:

Web Users will be removed from all existing NAV BRL customer licenses in early January and replaced with the equivalent number of DCO users. For customers who are current on BREP, their Protected Price List (PLP) will be unaffected.

Updated licenses will not be proactively sent out to partners. The updated license file or registration keys will be issued the next time the license is refreshed.
